Butter, Pound or Cup Cake

There is something so magical about a freshly home-backed cake. There is something that gets directly from the senses of smell and sight to the heart making it feel warm and glowing. A cake just out of the oven is a symbol of the home we all dream of. Whether orange, or marble, cakes makes us feel loved and welcomed. It tells us that there is a nurturer in the house. It says that we can sit and talk and feel at home with ourselves and our company. Cakes make every day a special day. Cakes are fun to make and fun to share. I remember the joy as a child of beating the dough and seeing the air bubbles. The taste of cakes remind me of happy days and success. Cakes go hand in hand with happy. Cakes are like people they come with all colours and flavours. Some of them are even rich and some are poor. Some are decorated and some are naked. Some are hidden under thick layers of frosting and others come plain. Some are huge and there are the cute cup cakes. Cakes are the magic of blending uninteresting everyday common ingredients to come up with a sensational experience. I love cakes.
